Marissa + Taylor | Mt. Baker Engagement

I first met Marissa while studying abroad at Capernwray Bible School. One of our first interactions together we took a walk around the grounds surrounded by sheep and English fog. We shared our mutual love for the northwest and beautiful moments. She asked me that day if I would photograph her wedding, though she was single at the time. I laughed and agreed to do it, crossing my fingers she would call me when the day came. 

Fast forward a year later Marissa was working in a coffee shop in Bellingham, WA and met Taylor in this very spot. They instantly knew this was it for them, some months later Taylor bought a ring, took Marissa up a mountain, and asked her to spend forever with him. She said yes, and I got that call. 

Jocelyn

I first met Jocelyn years ago, she recently asked me to photograph her to mark a transitional period in her life. Engagements, weddings, and births aren't the only moments in our lives we should document. I find periods of growth and change to be so invaluable, I couldn't say no.

I was born with an insatiable desire for exploring this beautiful earth, and organically documenting life through every season. I have lived in a castle on the English country side, hiked through the Austrian Alps, and driven across the United States; however in 2011 I began capturing peoples lives, and that has been one of the most exciting journey's I have been on.  I'm always looking for the next adventure on the horizon, let me know what's on yours.
